Remote Reiki Sessions
In December 2024, I began my training in Usui Reiki out of curiosity. What unfolded was a deeper lesson in surrender — in allowing energy to move without interference, in trusting what cannot be forced.
In February 2026, I completed my practitioner (Okuden) training as part of my ongoing spiritual deepening.
At this stage, I’m not setting up a formal Reiki practice.
Instead, I’m offering complimentary remote Reiki sessions — a quiet exchange that allows me to refine my channel while holding space for those who feel called. It’s intimate, spacious, and intentionally simple.
What to Expect
Each session lasts 30 minutes.
You don’t need to be on a video call. In fact, many people find it more powerful to receive without being observed. At the agreed time, I will begin the session remotely.
Your only role is to:
Lie down comfortably on a sofa or in bed
Be somewhere quiet where you won’t be disturbed
Allow yourself to rest
You may play gentle music if that feels supportive.
It’s recommended that you drink plenty of water in the 12–24 hours before the session, so your body feels hydrated and receptive.
There is nothing you need to actively do.
You don’t need to force visualisations, regulate your breathing in a particular way, or control your thoughts. Simply allow whatever naturally arises.
Images may come.
Memories might surface.
You may notice colours, sensations, emotions, or intuitive insights.
Or you may simply rest.
There is no performance here. No “right state” to achieve.
This is a space of surrender — where your system is allowed to process in its own intelligence.
If you wish, you may set a simple intention before we begin — silently or out loud:
“I’m ready to receive what is right for me now.”
“I am open to healing.”
“May this session support my highest good.”
Then you soften.
What You Might Experience
Reiki moves differently for everyone.
Some people feel warmth, tingling, pulsing, or gentle waves through the body. Others experience emotional release — tears, unexpected memories, a sense of softening.
You might notice:
A sudden drop into deep relaxation
Subtle body twitches
A feeling of heaviness or lightness
Emotional clarity
Vivid imagery or colours
Or simply a peaceful nap
And sometimes? You feel very little at all — yet something shifts quietly beneath the surface.
There is no “right” experience.
Energy works like the tide: sometimes dramatic, sometimes almost imperceptible — always intelligent, always working in service of balance.
After the Session
Afterwards, you may wish to:
Drink water
Journal
Take a short walk
Or simply continue your day gently
I would truly value your reflections. What did you notice? How did you feel afterwards? Even a few lines of feedback helps me deepen and refine this practice.
If you feel drawn to receive, drop me a message.
FAQs
-
Reiki is a Japanese energy practice that supports relaxation, balance, and the body’s natural healing processes. It works gently with the nervous system and subtle energy field, helping to clear stagnation and restore flow.
It’s not about “fixing” you. It’s about supporting your system to recalibrate itself.
-
The word Reiki comes from Japanese:
Rei — universal, spiritual, or higher wisdom
Ki — life force energy (the same concept as “chi” in Chinese medicine or “prana” in yogic traditions)
Together, Reiki can be understood as “universal life force energy.”
In practice, Reiki is a gentle method of working with this energy to support balance in the body, mind, and emotional field. It is subtle, non-invasive, and rooted in presence rather than force.
-
Energy isn’t limited by physical distance. In remote Reiki, I intentionally connect with your energy at the agreed time and channel Reiki as you rest in your own space.
You don’t need to be on a call. You don’t need to concentrate. Your only role is to be somewhere comfortable and undisturbed.
Many people actually find remote sessions deeper, as they’re able to fully relax in their own environment.
-
In Reiki philosophy, energy is not bound by location. Practitioners are trained to work with distance healing intentionally and respectfully.
What often determines the depth of a session is not proximity, but receptivity and relaxation.
-
No belief is required.
You don’t have to understand it or subscribe to any spiritual framework. Think of it as nervous system support rather than something you need to intellectually agree with.
Curiosity is more than enough.
-
Experiences vary.
Some people feel warmth, tingling, waves of energy, or deep calm. Others experience emotional release, imagery, or sudden clarity. Some drift into sleep.
And sometimes you feel very little in the moment — yet notice subtle shifts later.
There is no correct response.
-
That’s completely okay.
Reiki doesn’t require dramatic sensations to be working. Subtle sessions can be just as impactful. Often the shifts are noticed in the days that follow — better sleep, emotional steadiness, or unexpected insight.
Energy doesn’t need spectacle to be effective.
-
No.
Reiki is a complementary practice. It does not diagnose, treat, or replace medical or psychological care. If you have a medical condition, please continue working with your healthcare provider.
-
Keep it simple.
Drink water in the 12–24 hours beforehand
Choose a quiet, comfortable space
Allow yourself to lie down uninterrupted
If you wish, set a gentle intention. Then let go.
